Over the years, I’ve shared my Understanding Trauma workshops with thousands of parents, educators, and professionals — and their relevance has only deepened.
We’re living in a world that feels faster, louder, and heavier than ever before.
Our children are growing up in an environment filled with pressure and uncertainty, while so many adults are quietly carrying emotional loads that few can see.
Trauma — whether it’s a single event or the slow, daily burn of stress — shapes how we think, feel, and connect. It lives in our nervous systems until it’s met with understanding, safety, and repair.
That’s why I created Safe Again: Trauma Healing Across Generations — a workshop for everyone. Parents. Educators. Therapists. HR leaders. Teens and young adults. Even workplaces wanting to build healthier, more connected teams.
This isn’t theory for theory’s sake. It’s practical. It’s compassionate.
And it’s designed to give you real tools you can use straight away — in your home, your classroom, your relationships, and your workplace.
A practical trauma workshop for every age and stage.
Created for parents, teachers, leaders, therapists — and anyone who wants to understand trauma deeply, clearly, and compassionately.
Whether you’re supporting children, walking alongside a partner, leading a team, or simply navigating your own healing journey, trauma touches us all.
And the way we understand it?
It shapes everything — how we respond in the moment, how we repair afterwards, and how safe we feel in our own skin and in our relationships.
Safe Again: Trauma Healing Across Generations is a two-part online workshop that brings together psychology, neuroscience, and practical tools to help you make sense of trauma — and begin to transform it.
Across these sessions, I’ll guide you through what trauma really looks like across ages and stages, and how simple, grounded strategies can help us move from overwhelm to connection… from shutdown to safety… from surviving to healing.
Why now?
In 2021, I ran my original Understanding Trauma in Kids and Teens masterclass. It struck a chord with thousands of parents, teachers, and professionals. But so much has changed since then globally and individually.
We’re more aware. More impacted. More in need of practical, nervous-system-based tools that help us navigate this fast-moving, high-pressure world not just for our children, but for ourselves.
This time, it’s not just about understanding trauma in children.
It’s about all of us.
Because healing across generations starts with us.

I am an Educational Psychologist in private practice, based in Hilton, KZN, South Africa. I’m also a speaker, author, corporate consultant, blogger, mother, and friend and at heart, I am passionate about helping people thrive.
My work centres on promoting emotional intelligence, resilience, mental well-being, and growth whether in individuals, families, schools, or workplaces. In addition to therapy and assessment work with children, adolescents, and parents, I offer private coaching and mentoring for adults and leaders who want to deepen their self-awareness, enhance their relationships, and unlock greater personal and professional potential.
I also partner with organisations and corporate teams, delivering keynote talks, workshops, and transformation programmes that foster empowered, emotionally intelligent, and high-performing cultures. My corporate work draws on both the latest psychological insights and deeply human, practical approaches to growth and mindset transformation.
This isn’t a clinical lecture. It’s a real, grounded conversation about trauma and how we heal.
No jargon. No fear-based tactics.
Just clear, grounded insight – blended with practical tools, lived wisdom, and compassion.
You’ll walk away feeling better equipped to understand trauma, respond to it, and begin (or continue) your own healing journey with more clarity.
